PASTOR, I really appreciate, though never wrote you, about your writing. This one struck a nerve with me as I have been examing how the newer versions of God's Own Words have been corrupted by editors who think they know better what God is saying the He did when he inspired them. At some point I would LOVE to hear what you think about this! Love staying in touch though I am not quite as good at it as you are! Thanks so much

Thanks Mary, and it is good to hear from you. You make a great observation that takes it to a whole different level. I think some of the changes are well-meaning but misguided. Others lead to clear deception. Satan started to tempt Eve with "Did God really say?" Now, it seems, there are those who are trying to say, "No, God didn't really say that ..." At this point, I don't have the time to delve more into specifics, and to be honest, I am not as up on some of the new translations as a probably should be.

Probably a good thing you are not as up on the new translations. I keep getting told that newer is better, but if that were true, God knowing the end from the beginning would have used more modern slang! LOL...but I am being just almost blasphemous 🫤 But seriously, the God who gave us language in His image and likeness, is able to explain Himself much better than the NIV (you heard there is a new on coming out?🤦‍♀️) or even the NKJV which is not. Thanks for getting back to me and avoid the newer and better as they are neither.

I appreciate your insights. I think I will add "change" and/or "progress" to the Magic Words I will address, since these are often used as a talisman to argue that the new is better, simply based on the fact that it is new.
